- Managed and promoted successful independent bands, including former Atlantic Records artist Gathering Field.
- Managed planning, booking, and logistics (lodging, transportation, parking, loading in/out, payment, sound checks) for multiple regional tours.
- Published CDs for Dose, Sho’Nuff & Ike McCoy Band, which included coordinating art direction, music production, manufacturing, and distribution for each.
- Coordinated grassroots marketing projects for national organizations like Virgin Records, Student Advantage, and Universal’s Farmclub.com, the latter of which I managed a national tour from Los Angeles to Miami.
- Co-authored a 6-page feature on the Pittsburgh music scene in national publication, Gig Magazine (April 1999), and shared insights on the music industry as a panelist at Cleveland’s Undercurrents Music Conference (1998).
- Revitalized and grew web design business and online music community (citysounds.com) in the early days of the internet, increasing daily site traffic from under 1,000 to over 70,000 page views per month.
